The articulated arm is used for beam delivery. It is lightweight, spring-balanced 7-joint with two arms and 3 knuckle-end joint. A beam focus lens is embeded at the end of the arm, where the surgical hand piece is attached.
The articulated-arm beam delivery system provides good maneuverability, excellent durability, adequate working distance and full wrist motion.
